    Shaking video

I am having a problem with shaking and pixelating video on the DVD copy. The video looks fine on Premier Elements3 while editing, but when copied to a DVD the portions of the video that are hand held and moved shake and pixelate. There was some improvement when I upped the quality when copying. Is there a way to change the capture speed? This only happens on video that has been moved while filming - any video taken from a tripod copied fine.

If the original footage is from a DVD, you'll need to reverse the field dominance before you can use it in Premiere Elements.

You can do this by right-clicking on each clip on your timeline and selecting Field Options/Reverse Field Dominance or, in version 7, by using the DVD clips only in a project which uses the project setting for DVD footage.
