How do I compress videos using PE7?

I made a short video and posted it to YTube and it is grainy as heck. It was a 1 gig movie when finished although I was able to post it it came out all pixilated.. How can I fix it? thanks!

As we say in the FAQs at the top of this forum, YouTube compresses and re-encodes whatever you put on their site, so it's always going to show a reduced quality video.

The site is primarily there for displaying short videos. Since they host a lot of videos and lots and lots of traffic, their site would likely crash if they allowed people to post 1 gig video files, so yours probably got a major re-compressing.

But our FAQs show you how to get the best possible quality there.
