Did you deleted any video, images or audio that are used in slideshow. Please remove or add the deleted clips in the slideshow then send to Premiere elements. Please let me know if it is not working correctly.
Also what size are your photos.... PE7 will have problems if the photos are large resolution... if you are working with a lot of photos ideally they should be not much more than 1000x750
I'm sorry, I don't completely understand your question, but the slide show displays and previews all images and audio in Photo Shop Elements. If I skip trying to do additional editing in Premier and burn the DVD as is, everything is OK. It's just that I would like to do some editing to the audio (fading etc) in Premier, but can't.
Large file photos may be the problem. I'm using PS Elements 5 and Premier Elements 3. However, I'm using photos from various photographers, some of which I've noticed are large resolution.
If large file photos are the problem, it's probably not worth the trouble reducing them for the minor additional editing I'm wishing to do.
Thanks for the insight.
I have Photoshop 5.0 in which I have created a slideshow, upon attempting output the media to Premiere 3.0.02. Premiere is crashing my computer before it completing gets open. I have reinstalled Premiere and downloaded updates. Can anyone shed some light on this issue? I have even did the reverse. Open Premiere then try to begin my project in from Photoshop and get the same issue. The message from Windows says shut down due to serious error.
You might want to also post your question at www.muvipix.com. Go to the Community tab and look down for the "Slideshow" sub-forum. There are quite a few ins-n-outs with creating slideshows in PSE and bringing them into PE. I do not use PSE, so cannot help with your exact problem. Still, a lot of the folk over at Muvipix do and can likely instruct you.

It is not clear to me WHEN the failure occurs in this scenario. Does Premiere Elements start up OK? Can you open a new project in Premiere Elements? And does it then fail when you have do the Send of the Slideshow from Premiere Elements?
Or like the original poster on this thread, does it fail only when you attempt to Break Apart the slide show?
And also - have you deleted or moved or renamed any of the photo files or video files included within that slide show?
A more general question - have you previously done any projects successfully in Premiere Elements?
