Export it as a WMV.
But that's assuming it's a VERY short video. Anything over 30 seconds or so and you'd be better off posting it to a web site and then linking to it. You don't want to crash their e-mail, after all!
Thanks the video is about 60seconds. Problem is some places all they have is dial up. I send out horse videos and some of these horse people, well as a horse friend of mine says very proudly " I can read and send e-mail" :) Thanks sarah
When you export/share your video you have a choice of formats.
Windows Media is a good option and you can choose a preset. Some of the options are DSL/Cable, Dialup, and others.
Steve's book has a nice section on Sharing Options, and he has a very nice article posted at Muvipix.com as well.
You need to register to be able to view the article but the article and registration are both free :)
I would upload load it to a site like yousendit and email the link to the video. I know I don't like receiving large emails that take up a lot of space. You could even sign-up for Chucks http://muvipix.com: they give 100mb of free space to post videos, then just email the link.
