The FAQs at the top of this forum offer these suggestions.
Along with Steve's suggestion, the first thing you need to ask yourself is "what will I likely want to do with this Project in the future?" That can determine what can safely be done and what can safely be eliminated.
Usually, all Render files, all .PEK and Audio conform files, can be safely eliminated. PE will reconstruct these, as needed. The only thing that you will loose is a little time, when opening a "cleanded" Project, as PE will be busy recreating these. Be patient.
What I would look into would be Archiving your old Projects, onto an external HDD (hard drive). You never know when you'll want to go back, and this is usually the best way to do so.
Once you have made the decision of what will likely happen to the Projects in the future, report back, and someone can give you specific instructions on what can be eliminated, and how best to do it.
This topic is going to be one of my future tutorials at Muvipix. This has to be one of the most frequently asked questions 8)
That would be great, and a very good idea.
That will come right after I do the tutorial on using Playlists and Chapter Playlists in Encore DVD with the help of your very nice article Hunt :)
Hopefully they will be done sometime between February and April this year 8|
Great work, as always. If you need any little bit that I can add, do not hesitate to ask. Heck, I don't even need attribution, so long as it might help someone down the line.
Looking forward to the tutorials,
