I didn't even know that they sold multi user licenses for Elements 8)
This definitely sounds like one for Adobe Tech Support or whoever arranged that multi-user license.
Yes, we just recently purchased a 30 user license for Adobe Premiere Elements 7. We have been running 2.0, so 7.0 is a big leap.
With this software being used in a school environment, I do not want the software to ask for registration information every time a user logs into the PC. Very annoying.....
Does this Adobe technical document apply for your situation?
I am using that document to depoly the application, and that document works great. The issue is the registration that occurs after the application is opened for the first time.
This is a USER TO USER forum, not Adobe support
Since Steve literally wrote the book on PE7 (and provides advice at Muvipix) and he says he didn't know they had a multi-user license... you are going to have to contact Adobe
This must be something to do with the 'Educational Licenses'. Interesting.
But the registration should be for a System and Product, and not for individual users.
My guess is that these are 'Named User' licenses and not Concurrent licenses. That just means that every license has a single user and that users is expected to register. Did they just give you one DVD with the program and then 30 license keys? If so there is probably no way you will get around the registration process.
