> For some reason I cannot find a way to display my bookmarks.
In Adobe Reader 9: View > Navigation Panels > Bookmarks
The naviation Panels > Bookmarks brings up a separate window with bookmarks. Any way to attach it like it did before as a frame next to my open book?
On the left hand side of Reader 9 is a pane. If you open a file with bookmarks a icon of a page with a bookmark appears in the pane. If you click on that, your bookmarks should appear on the left of the page display.
If the icon is not displayed, right click in the pane of the left and bookmarks should be an option to check.
These are only displayed if there are bookmarks in the PDF.

I have figured out the cure.
VIEW > NAVIGATION PANELS > RESET PANELS
That has put the Bookmarks back where I am use to seeing them.
I am having the same problem. I add bookmarks to pdfs for a client and post them on the web. When I change the open settings to page and bookmarks and save it. It opens fine on my laptop. When I upload it to the internet and open the same file using Windows XP, all that shows in the initial view is the page. The client is having a fit. How can I fix the initial view in XP for all viewers?
I just got Adobe 9 and was wondering what I did wrong. I guess it changes it automatically.
Thanks for saving me hours of work !!!!
