Hi, I found this on Adobe's site. Give it a try.
In order to print comments from Adobe Reader 6, 7, or 8 you need to change a registry key. Please note that you edit the registry at your own risk.
Open the registry editor and browse to the following key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ADOBE\Acrobat Reader\6.0(or7.0, or 8.0)\Annots\cPrefs
Double click the 'bprintCommentPopups' key and change the value to 1
For Adobe Reader 8 you will need to add the key manually.
Add the following Reg key:
The registry key has the little sticky notes print that show there is a comment. But how about the comment itself? How do I get that to print?
In order to print the actual comment, you need to open all the comment pop-ups by selecting "Document" --> "Comments" --> "Comment View" --> "Open All Pop-ups".
When I do this I can see the comments on the pdf, but when I send it to print, even with Show Document and Markups selected, only the highlighting and strike-throughs show in the print preview and on the actual printed page...
Go to Comments > Print with comments Summary. Then choose the layout that best suits you.
In Reader 8 there isn't a Comments menu. I cannot see "Print with Comments Summary" in the Documents > Comments menu, nor anywhere in the Print window... Do you mean that it must be set up this way in Acrobat before anyone working with the document in Reader can print the comments?
I've loaded Reader Version 9 and I don't see any option to Print comments? Is this a "feature"
