    cannot print pdf files

Whenever I try to print a pdf file, the printer acts like it will start, the goes back to start position without printing. The pages to be printed are viewable. Using Adobe Reader 9. Any suggestions?

Mac user cannot print PDF files w/Reader 7.0.8

          Hi--

This is my first post so please excuse any errors in protocol. I also can't print PDF docs. I'm using Adobe Reader 7.0.8 with Mac OS X 10.3.9 and an HP Deskjet 842C printer. When I try to print, it "prints" but only a blank page comes out. This is very frustrating. Could this be a printer interface problem?

          Aaaaargh!

          Help!

          Thanks.

Leonard...try using the Print as Image checkbox in the Advanced features of the print box. Go file > Print and then click on the Advanced button. In the subsequent dialog you should have the ability to check Print As Image. Good luck!

              Dear Gene,

Thank you, thank you, thank you! "Print as Image" worked!

Thank goodness for these forums; the Adobe Help feature was worse than useless for this problem.

have a great day and hope your suggestion also helps Leonard.
