    Font sizes

    Level 7
Does anyone have a strong thoughts on sizing the fonts by the px or by the
em? I have been using 12px, and it seems to be a tad small. Is there any
advantage/disadvantage to one or the other?

      Thanks

      Gary

Yes. Sizing your characters with pixels is a bit troublesome for IE users
who want to increase the size of the text for readability purposes. They
cannot WITHOUT venturing into the TOOLS | Options cave and enabling the
          accessability function.

By sizing your characters with em, en, ex, percent, or font-size names, you
          avoid this problem.

Heh - do as I do, not as I say. Bear in mind that this is a great example
of the cobbler's shoes. My website is going on 6 years old now. A redo is
              in the works, though.
