Not that I'm aware of.
Unfortunately for you, there's not a lot of folks that create PDF's these days with version 4 compatibility so you'll have to update the OS or accept it.
I operate windows 98. I always had adobe 5.0 and it worked great on PDF files. Recently though, I can't read anything and have been searching days to re-install it. Any suggestions on how I can get it back. I'm certainly not a pro on computers so maybe I deleted something. Sure appreciate help for this Senior! Thanks
You can re-download Reader from the Adobe website, BUT it is important
to know why it disappeared. You should use some disk utility to check
for disk directory damage. Years ago I used Norton Disk Utility, but I
don't know if you can find one that will work under Windows 98 anymore.

<ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobatreader/win/5.x/ar505enu.exe>

Should do the trick.

Mike
I stand corrected. It looks like Reader 5 will work with Win98.
Keep in mind that it may not help much with the errors. 5 is still pretty outdated.
