Reader has nothing to do with this, since Reader does not create any
files. You have some software that scans your pages to pdf. Before you
try to upload the file as an email attachment you should make sure your
scanning software closed the file. Then you should be able to attach it
to an email. If you cannot then the problem lies with your system, not
Reader, not gmail, nor yahoo.
Thank you for your reply; however, to what "system" are you referring when you say, "the problem lies with your system." I use Firefox & have Vista. Could it be the Vista? Now that I think about it, I recently bought a new laptop w/Vista and this may be my first attempt to attach docs to emails. My old laptop has XP & I never had any problems; I will try attaching from that computer. Ann
In this case by system, I mean both its hardware and/or software. It
could be an operating system issue, it could be a problem with your hard
drive. It is impossible to tell from this distance.
