Don't try to uninstall, try to repair the installation---under the help
Thanks Mike. I tried that and it tried to fix the installation for a while and then came back with a message "Install server not responding". Any other ideas?? All suggestions are appreciated.
Try from Add/Remove Programs, with the 'Change' button.
If you know about the "event viewer" utility for Windows it might be able to shed more light on why this error is happening.
You mentioned you are trying to open the pdf in a web browser. Since you are using a 64 bit Operating system and 64 bit adobe application did you verify that you are using a 64 bit web browser and not 32 bit web browser?
