Adobe doesn't support more than one version of Reader on a system. If
you want to test earlier versions, uninstall the current version and
install a different version. Between the uninstall and install of a new
version you might consider running the Microsoft Installer Cleanup tool,
so that nothing left in the registry could interfere with the running of
the software you are testing.
On top of that, version 9 will remove version 8 at install.

If I had that requirement I would run it under Virtual PC.
I have 2 versions of Acrobat(Reader) on one computer and that is pushing it. I would only install 2 per machine, otherwise you will have more problems.
