To add to this thread....
The Adobe site states that the below upgrades/updates can only be applied to certain versions.
7.1.1 = can only be appplied to 7.10
8.14 = can only be applied to 8.13
I know that 9.1 can be applied to any 7.x or 8.x machines, but if we do not want to upgrade to 9.1, what is the best method to upgrade 7.0 to 7.1.1 and 8.0, 8.1.1 & 8.1.2 machines to 8.1.4?
Do we have to do multiple upgrades? (i.e. 7.0 to 7.1.0 and then 7.1.0 to 7.1.1) and (8.0,8.1.1 & 8.1.2 to 8.1.3 and then 8.1.3 to 8.1.4)
The easiest would be to run Adobe Updater, either from Adobe Reader, or from C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\UpdaterX (X is either 5 or 6). I think this would recommend the best update for each installation.
Actually I would like to know the upgrade strategy (i.e. which versions to deploy in which order etc..) to deploy to multiple users in a corporate environment.
