I tried to download Adobe Reader 8.1 for Windows Vista. The first time I left the check on the photoshop elements pkg. For some reason during the process I got a message Execution of Download failed "pase320_en_US.exe". I went back through and uncecked the download photoshop elements and I got through the whole download session - My Windows Vista security feature asked me several times to press "continue" if I wanted to really do this and I always said yes. It appeared to download fine - I watched the process and then it just seemed to disappear- no message at all. I can't find where the program ever go to my hard drive. Any ideas????????
I'm having the same problem. Using, Vista Business SP1 Acrobat Reader 8 download gets to the end of downloading and decompressing then just closes. No error messages and nothing installed. Was there a resolution to this problem?
it is probably downloading it to the Virtualized folder. I could waste alot of time explaining but just download and use Firefox to download and save it to your desktop. You should be able to install from there. Firefox is a better browser than IE anyway.
