Not sure exactly what you mean by that. Do you get a page of code?
If so, check to be sure that Word or some other text editor isn't opening it.
If that's not it, maybe you can give us some more details.
Yes. I get a page of code. I just discovered that it works if I open an existing file on my computer with Adobe. But it doesn't open if I simply click on it, as it used to with Adobe 6. I haven't received any new Adobe files, so I don't know if it works with newly received files. Thank you for your assistance with this matter.
I wonder if you've got it opening PDF files in Word?
> Yes. I get a page of code.
You'll need to look up how to change file associations for whatever OS you are running then. Seems that Word thinks it's supposed to open PDF's.
I think there's an FAQ on how to change file associations in the FAQ thread for Windows XP if you go there and look. Not sure about other systems but, it's not a Reader issue and is easily correctable.
Thank you so much. How do I find the Windows XP FAQ?
Now that I look at it, I'm not POSITIVE it's for XP but it's at: http://www.adobeforums.com/webx/.3bbc2da9
