    Help!  Multiples attempts at installing and I'm unable to view pdf's

      I've attempted to install 8.1.2. on Windows XP and continue to get the error messages below:

      When I try to open a pdf, I first get the following:
      Adobe Reader: Acro32.exe - unable to locate component
      The application has failed to start because USP10.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problem.

      I click OK and then the following message:
      Adobe Reader
      Invalid plugin detected. Adobe Reader will quit.

      Then the file closes.

      In one attempt to reinstall, I received error message to defragment C drive and then repair in add/install programs under control panel. Did not work. I also attempted to install on alternate drive. Defaulted back to C drive (defragment issue is in C).

      Any fixes?????
