Print settings should be sticky from session to session, so open a PDF, go thorough the print routine, make sure auto rotate and fit to page are selected, then print.
If I open the file in Reader and click File-Print, the Auto-Rotate and Center checkbox is checked. Page scaling is set to "Reduce to printer margins". Clicking OK yields the expected results. However, if I close Reader and then, in Windows Explorer, right click and then click print, the resulting print out is not auto-rotated nor is it sized according to the page size. I would have assumed that the print settings would be sticky as well, but that does not appear to be the case on this computer, or at least those settings are not applied to printing from Explorer. This may be a Windows XP issue, although I only seem to have the problem with 11 x 17 pdfs. Do you have any other thoughts?
right-click printing of pdf files hasn't really worked right since Acrobat 5. The fact that you have it working on other machines is curious. Not really sure what to suggest.
