    Adobe Reader with Vista

I've downloaded Adobe Reader 8.0. It seems be have installed on my computer successfully. However, when I open a .pdf file, I get a pop-up note saying that I must buy & install Adobe Professional. My first question: Has something changed with Vista that Reader is not free?
Second question: If that's not the case, has anyone seen & fixed this?
      THanks in advance.

Sounds like you "may" have downloaded the trial version of Acrobat.

Or it could be that the trial version was already installed and having both installed together isn't advisable.

Go to Add/Remove programs and find Acrobat and uninstall it. You may have to reinstall Reader again after that.
