    Set Up Testing Server

    djmegan82
I just purchased and installed Developer Toolbox for CS3. My webhosting service has Cold Fusion available for me. I can create cfm pages with DW. When I try to use the Developer Toolbox controls I have to set up a testing server. I don't know the answer to where the site's root folder is on the testing server. It asks for an URL prefix. Then the next step is for the RDS log-in. I have no idea what that is. I've only seen answers for setting up testing servers if the person has CF on their local pc which I don't. Without setting up the testing server I can't do any functions with Developer and thus all my $$ will be wasted in buying it. Also, does Adobe have any tutorials on using Developer Toolbox? Thanks for any advice.

If you are using Vista this will help you set up your computer as a testing
          server:

Thank you but I am not trying to set up a testing service on my local pc. Cold Fusion is already enabled for me on my hosting server. I need instructions on what info DW wants for setting up the testing server when CF is not on your local pc.

Sorry, I would never use my hosting (production) server as a testing server,
so I have never tried to set it up.
