This is Acrobat 5.0, the commercial software, or Acrobat Reader 5.0,
the free software?
It's Acrobat Reader and Writer 5.0 the purchased software not the free downloaded version
Then you will need to purchase an upgrade to the current version 8.1.
Note that Acrobat Standard would be a downgrade; to retain all your
current features you'd need Acrobat Professional.
Note that there was no product called Acrobat Writer, if you want to
be exact. And you would normally have only one of "Acrobat" and
"Acrobat Reader". To make it even more confusing, "Acrobat Reader" was
renamed "Adobe Reader".
I use a Adobe Acrobat 5.0 a registered software and I resently changed my O/S to Vista from XP now I get a msg saying that this version of ACrobat has compatability issue with Vista, I am not able to convert Doc files into PDF formats, kindly advise me how to correct this problem.
Acrobat 5 is ancient software released in 2001, before Windows XP if
memory serves. You need to upgrade to Acrobat 9.
