I have an application where a web page with an embedded PDF file is called upon. I want to print the PDF but if the focus for some reason is lost for the print dialog, the PDF document "freezes". Of course, I can use ALT+TAB or minimize the Internet explorer window so I can reach the print dialog and being able to print the PDF but I want to prevent the print dialog from loosing focus in the first place, or at least regain focus when I click on the PDF-file (this is the case when I use a stand-alone adobe reader window, but not when it is embedded).
I'm using Adobe reader 8.1.2 and Internet explorer 7.
Actually it turns out that the problem of lost focus is only present when I use the Print-button in the menu. If a press CTRL+P or right click on my embedded PDF-file everything works fine, i.e. the Print dialog is modal.
Any clues on how to make this work with the Print button? Or is this a bug in Adobe Reader?
