Submitting form data over https (SSL )

I've created a PDF form in LiveCycle and Acrobat Professional that users will complete and submit information as XML. The submitted data goes to a PHP script. I prefer to have the data submitted using https (SSL). I'm getting a certificate from a Trusted Root Certificate Authority, in particular I'm looking at GoDaddy. Questions:

Does Adobe Reader validate against a list of Trusted Root Certificate Authorities before submitting the data to the web applications ?

Is there a way to find out which Trusted Root Certificate Authorities are supported in Adobe Reader as can be done in Internet Explorer and Firefox?

Does Adobe Reader support Go Daddy Class 2 Certificate Authority as a Trusted Root Certificate Authority, as IE and Firefox do?

Thanks in advance for any information provided
