I currently have Adobe Acrobat/Reader 8.1.2 installed on my computer. I have Windows XP.
When I right click an pdf attachment I've received in email - Get the following pop-up error:
"Right click the folder you want to creat the fil in, and then click Properties on the shortcut menu to chec your permission for the folder"
I, also, cannot open any PDF attachments. They appear to download and I can find them in My Documents ... but when I click on Open File, a quick hour-glass time comes up and blips right off the screen.
I have Windows XP .. and Adobe Reader 8.1 and did not use to have this problem.
What should I do?
I can find the PDf attachments that I download but cannot open them.I have windows XP and Adobe Reader 8.1 HELP
I cannot open jpg attachments in email and get this message: Could not open becasue it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been changed. This is now happening on an email that I could previously open.
In addition, when in Pictures, I click on a picture and the same message appears. I can right click, go to Open and open the picture.
I am running XP and have downloaded the latest Adobe Reader in an attempt to fix my problem.
What is happening?

Then you've downloaded the wrong thing.
Reader does not nor never has opened .jpg files.
