Alright here's an issue I'm having. We have xp clients with Adobe Reader 8 connecting to a 2003 R2 server. We redirect application data to a centralized location on our server. Within our network our clients can open adobe perfectly. If our network goes down or a client is using a laptop and they go home, they cannot open the reader. They get an "Internal Error" error. I realize this is because Adobe Reader requires access to the application data folder. Unfortunately if they are off site or the network is down that application data folder is not available. How do I get around this? I've noticed that I can install Adobe 5 and it works fine but any version after that fails to start.
