    Trouble reinstalling reader

I downloaded the trial of Acrobat® 9 Pro. After I unistalled it, my reader quit working. Now when I try to reinstall reader it tell me it can not remove the old version. I have unistalled all of Adobe products, used regedit to remove all entry's. Any ideas?

Using regedit to delete everything you can find is very dangerous and
can leave things broken beyond recovery. It also never fixes uninstall
problems. It's a mystery to me why so many people do this. I guess
there is a lot of bad advice to be found.

The same goes double for "uninstallers" and "registry cleaners" from
          third parties.

You should probably try the Windows Installer Cleanup Tool. Be sure to
          follow its instructions exactly.
