Have a PC user download the file and try filling them out.
That is what I did. I created the form on the Mac and uploaded it to my web site using FTP on Dreamweaver. I can access and successfully fill out and send the form using my Mac but when I try the same thing on a PC running Acrobat Reader (have tried both ver. 8 and 9) i get the above error. More thoughts?
You'd only get the error in Reader; Acrobat doesn't care. So if it is
damaged on the server, this is consistent.
Aandi, what do you suggest? How can I figure out if the file is damaged and what can I do about it? I have refreshed the original file and replaced the file on my web site. the issue remains. Other ideas? I really want to get this up and running. Thanks for any help you can give. Chris

Download the file from the server to your own computer. Now you have
the original file and the file from the server. Stick them both on a
CDROM and walk to a computer with Adobe Reader. See which one(s) give

* Only the downloaded file (expected): the file on the computer is
damaged by the upload (perhaps not a binary FTP) or by the server. Try
a different FTP client to examine this possibility: be SURE to use a
Oh, before bothering to make a CD, just compare the sizes of the two
files. If the sizes are different, the file was obviously changed.
