    Is there a way to add a formula to a field?

      Hi all. I'm new to working with Adobe documents, and I've recently been tasked with trying to find a way to edit a form so that when data is entered into two specific fields, a total will be calculated and presented in a third. Is there any way to do this? If not, is there any way to merge cells in Excel to help me calculate?

      I am running Adobe Acrobat 8 Standard.
