What sort of Mac is it (Intel or PowerPC) and what is the full name of
your download for Reader 9?
it is a iMac G5 1,9 Ghz Power pc and it just hits me that I have been told to download the intelversion... not right!!!
I have now downloaded the power pc version and it installs fine - but when I try to read a specific page via Google it still won't open - I get a frame with programmes to chose from, and can find and mark Adobe Reader 9, but still not open the page.
sorry, forgot the name of the download - under the icon it says "AdbeRdr90_en_US_ppc.pkg"
Ok, now you have the right version, but I don't know why you still get
that problem, sorry.

I don't understand what you're doing here? Are you trying to open a PDF?
Do you have a link to the page you're talking about?
yes, I have amongst others these two, that are rather important for me to open
when I try to open these pages, I get a new window with the address up top, but completely black, and sometimes the frame with the computers programes comes up, and I have to chose something - sometimes it doesn't come up
