    Form Not Saving Changes

We have noticed a glitch in Reader and I was wondering if anyone knew of a patch that may address this issue. We have a form that we use to capture council information. If a form is opened then a second form is opened we are encountering an issue with the second form not saving the changes made to it. Here is the flow

      Open form one (leave open)
      Open form two (leave open)
Close form one (Using grey X, no changes made)
      Make changes to form two
      Save form two
re-open form two (none of the changes were saved)

any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You forgot to include some important details. Such as platform, versions of Reader and your OS, exactly how the PDFs were made, why you need to open the first one to make changes in the second, and what type of changes that Reader can do you are trying to make.

We are running on XP for the most part all though VISTA is installed on some machines but very few. The versions of Reader are both 7.1 and 8.1.2 (the problem has been Identified and recreated in both versions)

PDF's are an adobe form and the reason for two being opened may range from user error to the user filling out one form and viewing another or even cutting and pasting in some instances.

The changes are all text changes. Hope this clarifies the situation somewhat.
