Not with Reader no. That would require using the optimization feature in Acrobat. Or recreating the PDF's with different settings using whatever application was used to begin with. Sorry.
Hi, I can not download adobe 9 so I can not get to pdf files. I have been trying and I keep getting error messages. I have tried to go back to 8 but it wont let me. Could someone please help me.

Is it possible to transfer a PDF to word? If yes, whts the best way to solving ths mystery that has given me such a headache today?
I've been able to save a pdf file to a word.doc some of the time. I think it depends on whether or not the pdf file is password protcted or not.

But not using Reader. You need Acrobat to do that.
I have CS# with Indesign and acrobat Pro 8 I have created a file 5MB on in design adn when saved as a PDF it's 20mb. Please help. This hasn't happened before.
How are you creating the PDF. If you are using the export function from InDesign, you'd want to ask in the ID forum. It doesn't use Acrobat.
If you are using Adobe Acrobat, post your question in the forum for Acrobat.
