Yes, I don't think that'll be a problem as long as you're not trying to sell it. I'd burn it to a CD, external hard drive, zip disk, etc. anything that'll hold 33.5 mb.
Thanks for your reply. The problem is that link tries immediately to install the reader on my PC (where it is already installed), What I can't seem to find is the "save to disk" option. Any suggestions?
You can get the complete installer at ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/9.x/9.0/enu/AdbeRdr90_en_US.exe .
Please post the final results of your issue. I have a similar need and would like to know the best way to approach this.
The best way to approach this is to download the installer from the link I provided above.
...or from this clickable hyperlink http://download.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/9.x/9.0/enu/AdbeRdr90_en_US.exe
I know that this is an old thread, but I
still have the same problem.
I need to download and save to my hard drive then put on jump drive to take and update a friends
computer who is still on a Dial-up connection.
When i just go to down load the latest version of Adobe Reader it wants to install it on my pc.
That is fine but how do i then get it to friends pc.
