I am doing an unattended install of Reader 9 over the top of a previous install of Reader 9. When I run the unattended install, it sees that Reader 9 is already installed and asks if the users wants to repair the install. I tried deleting the folder in program files, but still it looks to do a repair. Is there a specific registry key I can delete that will keep the installer from knowing that Reader 9 is already installed?
One thing that I did to uninstall previous versions was
1. Start | Run | CMD
2. Type "WMIC product get name" then hit enter
3. You should see one in there the says Adobe Reader 9
4. Type "WMIC product where name="Adobe Reader 9" call uninstall" then hit enter
