    Runtime error

have recently downloaded Adobe reader 9.0

      Keep getting this message:

      "Runtime Error

      program: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader9.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe

this application has requested the runtimeto terminate in an unusual way."

      What does this mean?

I'm still running XP and get the same message about 2/3 times on open with Reader X.  Also  get crashes without warning or error message about 2/3 times when I click on Comment or Share, and when I click to open a file listed on the splash screen. about 50% of the time the files on the splash screen fail to open and I get an error message sayinbg the file is corrupt, but if I do a standard file open routine via menu the file opens OK.

I would guess all these are problems related to Vis C runtime errors, but where to start for a fix??  AR/X clearly has too many bugs and glitches in it to be usable in this version.

Much easier to uninstall AR/X and work google docs.

Upgrade your Reader to version 10.0.1

This new version might solve your problem

You can obtain Adobe Reader 10.0.1 form here: http://get.adobe.com/reader/?promoid=BUIGO
