I have a VB6 application that runs on a Windows 2000 server as a service. I need to print PDF's to network printers. Currently I use GSPRINT (part of Ghost Print) to do this and it works fine EXCEPT it is extremely slow on WAN connected printers. I need a tool that I can access in VB, most likely using a command line, that will silently (no prompts, windows, etc,) print a PDF file to a network printer.
Will Adobe Reader do this? Can I use it "silently"? Can I call it via a command line from VB6?
