why do I always have to redownload adobe and active x

I have IE and seems like every so often I get the message to download adobe reader when I go to a site that won't open. Also I get messages to download flash a whole lot and active x. Do I have something checked that doesn't hold the download. I check and they are on my control panel software. Does any one have an idea? Thanks so much

I wish I could help!

I too have similar issues - I am constantly asked to download active x when I edit my webpages through NVU. I cant work out why. My problem seems to happen most with video editing - I will be most interested in any further info.

This isn't normal.

1. Is this one particular site, or every site where you want to read a
PDF?

2. What is the EXACT sequence of messages you get, with all text?
