Please call Adobe's support, your entitled to free support for issues like these. You'll find a local number at:
- Jonas Hummelstrand
Install failures can have any number of reasons. for starters, check the following:
- Do you have full administrative privileges and folder access?
- Do you have sufficient disk space?
- Is the temporary folder perhaps full (C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\Robert\Loakale Einstellungen\Temp)?
- Is the system correctly updated, especially in terms of Internet Explorer (which brings along all MS Installer components) and .NET Runtime 1.1?
Beyond that - yes, call support, you're entitled.
Thanks Jonas, Mylenium,
Problem solved, I called tech. support and they helped me.
The suggestion was to start the computer in save mode; only the for installing AE necessary programs running. It was a hassle but everything is fine now.
Kind regards, Robert
"Safe Mode" as in press F8 during boot (PCs only?)
Good tip to know!
Thanks Jonas, I was wondering about it and if it would be the same.
Will come in handy, I guess one day I will come across this again.
Thanks again, Robert
