    plugins that don't exist

      Hi..I am getting the fun "multiple plugins found" I have searched everywhere and can't find the duplicates. I only have plugins int he common file. I've searched the entire hard drive as well as the other adobe products. No luck

      any thoughts would be great. Getting carpal in my finger from clicking past the error

          Check under the application folder in support files > plugins...that's usually the case, where it's installed to the common folder and the application plugin folder.

            Check your Program Files\Adobe\After Effects CS3\Support Files\Plug-Ins folder and Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins. Some tools have the bad habit of trying to install to the latter, including Red Giant and Trapcode plugins. If you are on a Mac, the files are in the respective sub-directory in your User Library folder.
