> am doing a couple tutorials and wondered why i cannot find keylight in the trial version? is this a plug in please? and if so is there any links please?
No its not avail in the trial version.
but is it in the full version please?
it is in the full version.
ahh i have found it in the trial version, its in the AE folder as plug in's (doh!!)
i should have looked there first!
noob question here as first time i have used AE, how do you install these plug in's like key light please? :)
from the "About effects" section of After Effects Help:
"Adobe provides many third-party effect plug-ins with After Effects. Keylight, Color Finesse, and Cycore FX (CC) plug-ins are installed by default with the full version of Adobe After Effects software. These plug-ins are not included with the trial version of Adobe After Effects software."
Sorry but they are a separate folder in the AE folder, so i dont have to install them then?
this means that they are there but disabled????
> this means that they are there but disabled????
Correct. The trial versions are identical to the full versions. They can be "unlocked" with a valid key which you receive from Adobe when you purchase the program. So everything is there and "installed," but not necessarily active for use during the trial period.
thanks a lot!!
right so now i have the full version, keylight is there and i am one happy bunny!!
AE is fantastic!! very pleased!! :)
