Mylenium Jan 5, 2009 10:47 AM (in response to spdorsey6969)It's a clipping error where the display algorithm can't decide whether the layer is above or below the camera center, hence it displays random triangle strips from one side or the other. Assuming you use OpenGL, turning it off may improve matters. If not, moving the camera slightly to get a more graceful behavior would be advisable. If that's not possible, either, perhaps you can use and alternate way of sliding in your chip die. E.g. you could fake the illusion by using the Corner Pin and Transform effects. At a point of your choice you could then cross fade to the real 3D layer. It's a bit fiddly, and surely an undesirable workaround, but should provide an acceptable solution to the immediate problem.
