I've got a question. I have a movie in MPEG-2 that lasts 3,30 min. 200 MB and there are subtitles implanted in the movie that looks like this: http://g.imagehost.org/view/0609/1_29
And I want to erase those subtitles, but I don't want to cut the frames or something like that. I will edit each single frame if I have to and I dont want to change the file size I don't want to cut anything, but my question is how can I do that ?? Can do it by Adobe Premiere or by Adobe After Effects ?? Which program can help me ?? Please tell me.
Add a black solid on top, mask out the center to reveal the original footage. Just like Thomas, I wouldn't resize the footage in any way due to it being compressed and possibly already containing fields. This will wreak havoc when rendering it again, so letterboxing it is the next best thing.
