    RAM question

      Hi all,

      Just wondering if there is a maximum amount of RAM after effects can handle? as far as i know after effects uses a2gb of ram for every core, is this accurate?

          It depends on what operating system you use, which you haven't mentioned.

          Generally speaking, a minimum of 2GB per core is the optimal way to configure your machine. If you're using WinXP 32, any more than a total 4GB of RAM in the machine will be wasted.
