The message I keep getting is: " After Effects warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands." I forgot to mention that I have a nearly identical set-up at my other office computer which does not yet have the 8.02 update and there are no problems with this.
Is it possible to revert to a previous update version?

Re-install the program from the original disc. Still, your problem sounds like you could also resolve it with updating your graphics card driver. The error message seems to indicate that your graphics adapter accepts all processing commands, but then sends the results into Nirvana, so AE can't generate the display buffer. As a minor, I would at least turn off the advanced features of the NView desktop manager and see if this bring any betterment.
Thanks for the suggestions. I already insured I have the latest graphics card driver and my other system uses the same driver without issues. But come to think of it, I may have had to enable some advanced Nvidia features on my problem system when I installed a 30" monitor and it was not automatically giving me its native 2560 x 1600 screen resolution. Hope there is not a trade-off there!
You must make sure your graphics card supports dual-DVI in order to get the native resolution for 30-inch monitors.

Yup, that base is covered.
