Please provide some more concrete info about the graphics configuration. most likely you just need to flip a switch to turn of the secondary (external) graphics display to correct the error.
Here's a pic of the problem im getting:
Im not running dual monitors at all.
I really new to after effects so im not too sure about what's where if you know what I mean.
Any help is much apreciated.
This has nothing to do with physically running dual monitors. Most notebooks will by default configure a secondary display for the external DVI/ HDMI port. I still can't provide any more help since you didn't give any info about the graphics card. (NVidia? ATI? Which series?)
I've got Nvidia Geforce GO 7600, and running Vista if thats any help.
