I'm having a real issue with my audio track that I imported into After Effects: It works perfectly and sounds great up until about 5 seconds before the end of the song and then it just cuts out!
I edited the audio a little bit so when it plays, part of the song in the middle is cut out, and the same song picks up at a different part. I did this by bringing in 2 of the same audio tracks into the Timeline workspace, and I brought the First audio level down to -48.00db as I brought the Second level up to 0.00db. The transition is perfect for what I need, but it's possible that this technique got me in trouble, because I'm pretty terrible when it comes to working in AE.
I double and triple-checked to see that I didn't have any time markers towards the end that would cause the audio to cut out, and I just really don't know where I went wrong or what I can do to fix it.
What OS? What version of After Effects? What kind of sound file?
Is this only during RAM Preview, or to you get drop-outs in you final renders as well?
If AE has to render the audio file, you will only get audio preview for the amount of time that is set in Preferences -> Previews -> Audio Preview. AE CS3 is a lot better at handling audio, so it can play many files directly from disk, which earlier versions never could.
