You need to render your project in 16bpc and use CoDecs such as Pixlet, ProRes, Microcosm etc. Alternatively, you should be allowed to use TIFFs or DPX with the proper color profiles and lin/log conversion settings. Since they are doing the print to tape and most edit suites will swallow a ton of formats, I don't see a problem except perhaps for it consuming more disk space.
Hmmm. I wouldn't know what to do either. "Uncompressed 10-bit" comes up for me but then the "RGB+Alpha" is grayed out with only the option to render the RGB movie OR the alpha channel movie. I normally do 24 bit Targa sequences or Animation 100% but I assume that is only 8-bit as well.
I would just ask the post house to clarify.
Good question! I'd like to know too. Let us know what you find out.

Regarding the sleep: Don't let the timestamp fool you. He is in Germany, after all.
Regarding knowing all: Close. Maybe not as close as he'd like, but close. ;-)
I don't know, he still seems to answer 24 hours a day regardless of where he lives. Message board addict!
