    How to "rotate" ramp?

I have ramp in my 3D text layer. When I zoom towards the text layer and rotate the camera, ramp moves and text goes out of color. So I would need to make that my ramp moves with the text.

I have found one solution, but it isnt good. If I pre-comp my layer, but then when I zoom through the text layer, text quality sucks big time. So cant o pre-comp.

What do you mean? How do you create the ramp? Layer style? Ramp effect? The layer style will orient itself to the composition, but you certainly should be able to retain the ramp orientation by a simple expression tied to the ramp's Angle property. If you want the oldschool way, you can do the same by parenting a conventional layer with the ramp effect that uses the text as a matte. A bit clunky, but works.

Select the text layer, choose "Pre-compose" and move all attributes to the new composition. That way AE will first render the ramp on the text and then send that as a single layer into the comp with the camera moves. Enable the "Collapse transformations" switch for the pre-composed layer to have it rerender the text in the resolution that is required.
