And to further facilitate the process based on Silversurfer's suggestion:
Somewhere in the middle of the page there's a preset that covers exactly this oft-requested topic.
I know this is a long shot but I thought I would try!
I do not have the money for the trapcode pluggins... And was wondering if anyone that knew how to do this... Could replicate this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUPh-K40HjA (Martin Falch Productions)... And in place put:
"Nig Nog Productions Present"
Then render the video into something that can be viewed on Windows Media Player! And email it to me >_< ...
Me and 3 of my good friends are making a video, but we are all poor students lol that cannot afford the pluggins at this time.. so were reaching out to any helpful community members that could lend us a hand.
Thanks so much in advance!!
P.S. my email is: firstname.lastname@example.org
You should be able to create this look by combining multiple instances of Fractal Noise, a simple linear wipe and some Turbulent Displace. What version of AE do you have? Perhaps I could whip up some quick project to illustrate the technique.
Our team is using the Newest version of after effects.. Though it is a trial.. But Im pretty sure that doesent matter because we wouldent have the Trapcode plugin anyway...
However we did download the "Standard 3D" and "Form" pluggin trial versions from the Trapcode website yesterday... And were able to produce the effect we wanted..
But with one huge flaw... There is a giagantic "X" going through the whole work space that says "Demo Mode" at the top... And when we rendered the file.. It was in the video as well...
So we were rly bummed lol.. Anywho, lemee know what you guys think or if you could help us out with this!!
Thanks so much,
