OpenGL not available in AEF CS3, although graphicscard supports OpenGL 2.1

      Hello all,

I have a IBM Thinkpad R61 (notebook) with a nVidia Quadro NVS 140M graphics card (which supports Direct X 10 and OpenGL 2.1 according to nVidia. Running on Vista. After Effects CS3 version

      So far the tech info.
My problem is that even though my graphics card supports OpenGL After Effects says the graphics card doesn't support it. On the preferences > Preview tab I can't turn OpenGL on. And according to the OpenGL info button a OpenGL supporting Graphics Card can't be found. Graphic Drivers may require an update it says. But my drivers are completely up to date. Tried updating through windows update, and through the Lenovo / IBM upgrade utility, but it can't seem to find more recent drivers.

Does anybody have a solution for this?
